We explored many options for having children and chose open adoption for many reasons.  We want our children to grow up having siblings like we did and knowing their adoption story and how we came to be their parents.  Open adoption also goes well with our belief that we should raise our family being open and honest with one another.  Through open adoption, we can show our children very clearly that they are loved - not only by us, but our entire "family," including our family, friends, and members of our children's birth families.  We hope for and welcome contact with you for many years to come should you select us as the fortunate parents for your child.

Our Dream for Our Children

We share a dream for our children that they have as positive a childhood as we both did - with supportive and involved parents and surrounded by a loving, diverse, and extended network of family and friends.  As we grow our family through adoption, we will continue to parent through strength, humor and love.
